How to care for your handmade pottery

It is always best to handwash handmade pottery, thermal shock from dishwashers can cause cracking and the glaze can be affected. This said, I have put my own pots in the dishwasher and they've survived so far but I know I can always make more for myself. I will always handwash pieces that are special to me. I have also microwaved my own pots without any disasters.

Please use your dishwasher and microwave at your own risk.

Important Note: Pots with any Lustre decoration cannot be put in the microwave or dishwasher.
